One of our last weddings of the Summer 17/18 was for the totally smitten Lucy + Matt. These guys are friends of ours and we were thrilled that they asked No Biggie to cater for their wedding. They got hitched at Matt’s family home just outside of Katikati with all their nearest and dearest.
When we met with them to chat about their menu there was only one absolute must – Angus Pure rib eye – a request from Lucy’s dad who knows his beef. We seared it over charcoal and then popped it in the oven until it was perfectly cooked. Lucy’s dad was chuffed with the result and we got a mentioned in his speech that went a little something like “they were told they better not f*** up the beef… and they didn’t.” We could hear the laughter and feel the love for these two all the way from the kitchen. We’re so lucky to have the most amazing couples seek us out – you guys rock.
